Il Nord Ovest (North West in inglese) è una delle regioni dell'Inghilterra. Confina con la Scozia a nord, con le regioni Nord Est, Yorkshire e Humber e Midlands Orientali a est, Midlands Occidentali a sud, con il Galles e il Mare d'Irlanda a ovest.
È una delle due regioni (insieme allo Yorkshire e Humber) che avrebbero dovuto votare in un referendum per la creazione di un'assemblea regionale. La regione Nord Est ha recentemente rigettato una proposta simile con un referendum. Il vice primo ministro John Prescott ha dichiarato che non si terranno referendum fino al giugno 2005.
