Dan Simmons

Dan Simmons (n. 4 aprile 1948 a Peoria, Illinois) è uno scrittore statunitense noto soprattutto per il suo romanzo Hyperion (vincitore del Premio Hugo) e per il suo seguito La caduta di Hyperion. Gli altri romanzi del ciclo, conosciuto come i Canti di Hyperion, sono Endymion e Il risveglio di Endymion. Simmons è capace di sconfinare in diversi generi quali fantascienza, horror, giallo e fantasy, a volte nello stesso romanzo.
